Here is the way I used to select the keywords for my domain names, filenames, directory names and for the content on my web pages.

We can get a list of key phrases people using to search the internet by the " Overture Inventory Tool". Open this LINK in a new window. Search for a term "Saree". Now you will get the list with the count. The more the count, the more the search terms was searched on the internet. Click the picture for overture results for the term "Saree".

If you look at that it will be easy to understand what the people are looking for on the internet. If you are able sell saree online, you can go for the next step of choosing your domain name. Before that, search for different terms and copy paste the suggestion list on a Word or Excell document to make a print out. The actual count on this overture tool will give you an idea. The real searched count on Google search engine will be multi times more than this Overture Count. Overture count is based on Yahoo Search. Google share on the world searches is more than 60%. The rest of all other search engines will come under the 40%. So, we can multiply the overture count by 10 times to know the Google' search count. This is an example. Not the exact calculation.
